Frequently Asked Questions
when can i arrive? When do I leave?
Gates open at 12pm on the 10th January
You need to be offsite by 12pm on the 15th, unless you’re staying onsite to attend Spinfest (which you should definitely do)
Where do i register?
The registration desk is located near the jailhouse bunks, opposite the kitchen and dorm rooms. It will be clearly labelled and open from 12pm arrival day. Make sure you register so we can mark your attendance and give you any important information.
Where/When is the welcome meeting? Is it compulsory?
The welcome meeting will be at 8pm (roughly) on the arrival night of the 10th. This meeting will be the chance for you to meet your coaches, volunteers and crew and to get any important information you might need for the event. If you can’t attend for any reason, make sure you get a friends to fill you in on the details.
What’s the weather going to be?
Hot, cold, wet, sunny…all of the above? While we always aim for warm, dry weather, it can sometimes be a bit temperamental. We recommend coming prepared for all occasions - so bring a rain jacket and umbrella, warm clothes and a sunscreen!
What should I bring?

Warm clothes
Rain gear (rain jacket and umbrella)
Camping gear (tent, mattress, sleeping bag ect…)
Dorm bedding - sheets, linens, blanket (if applicable)
Toiletries

A costume for Renegade (very, very important)
Drink bottle
Reusable coffee mug, cup, cutlery, crockery

Where is my dorm room? Where should I park? What about camping? Ahhhhhh!
When you arrive onsite there will be volunteers at the gate who will be able to direct you, so don’t stress! Dorm rooms are located around the main area, by the kitchen and dining room and camping is located on the oval. Any questions you have can be directed to the volunteers when you arrive.
i don’t have a car, is there carpooling available?
We have a carpool group here. If you’re someone who has space in your car or if you’re someone who needs a ride, we encourage you to use this group.
I can’t do any of the skills i’ve seen on the apac website. can i still come?
Absolutely. APAC has workshops ranging from beginner to highly advanced. Each workshop will be demonstrated before beginning so you can decide what workshop best fits your skill level.
What the heck is a tarzan? 3-high? these names are so confusing!
Don’t worry, we know acro lingo can be a bit crazy. Every morning and afternoon we will have a workshop demo to show you what each workshop entails.
i don’t know if im at the level for this workshop. how can i check?
Each workshop will be allocated a skill level on the timetable. If you’re unsure if you are at the skill level our workshop demos will go through any prerequisites for workshops. This way you can watch and determine if you have the prerequisites to attend the class.
is my dinner included in my meal pass when i arrive? What about breakfast when I leave?
No, dinner on arrival and breakfast on departure are not included in your pass. Both will be available to purchase for roughly $12-$15 (make sure you bring cash). If you have purchased a meal pass it will cover breakfast, lunch and dinner for the 4 training days only.
can i buy a meal pass onsite?
Yes you can. Please see one of the catering team to organise and have cash available to pay. A meal pass is $140.
how do the payment plans work?
If you would like a payment plan, please email spincircustraining@gmail.com.
You can pay off your ticket in whatever instalments that suit you and once it’s all paid off we will email your code to access your ticket! SO SIMPLE!
Do i need a partner or can i come alone?
APAC has a range of workshops available for solo attendees such as handstands, group acro, tumbling and more. Acro festivals tend to have a larger flyer to base ratio so if you are a solo flyer wanting to focus more on duo acro, coming with a partner will make training a lot smoother.
Wow apac was so fun, I’d love to stay for spin - can i buy a ticket?
Absolutely! Please head to the registration desk if you would like to stay for Spinfest.
I’m staying for spinfest, can i get food onsite inbetween apac and spinfest?
There will be breakfast available on departure day for purchase (this is not included in your meal ticket). Our catering team needs time to restock and prepare for Spinfest so no other food will be available after then. There are supermarkets, cafes and restaurants in the surrounding towns available for you.
can i bring my pet?
No. APAC involves a lot of throwing people and moving bodies and we cannot allow pets on site for safety reasons. As much as we love your furry friends, please leave them at home. If you have a medical companion please contact X to discuss.
Can i bring my own alcohol?
No, APAC is strictly NO BYO. Please do not bring your own alcohol onsite. We have a bar available onsite that is open from 6pm for all your boozy needs
can i bring my own food?
Absolutely, however there are no fridge or cooking services available so we cannot store food for you. You are welcome to bring a portable camping gas stove and we have washing facilities available for you to use.
We encourage you to bring some extra snacks.
Can i fill up my drink bottle anywhere?
No, no, NOOOOO. There will be clearly labelled signs around campsite for available drinking water. DO NOT fill up your water anywhere else. You will get sick.
Drinking water must also be used for brushing your teeth.
Do i have to wear a costume to renegade?
100% yes. The best part of Renegade is the costumes. There might even be some prizes for best dressed.
